Up-cycled holiday tree

This year the student book club created book ornaments for the tree.  Thank you to a parent volunteer for help in getting this done!

One of Us is Lying

One of Us is Lying
Karen M. McManus

Breakfast Club meets today's social media mystery.  Five acquaintances are mysteriously framed for having cellphones out during class.  When they all end up in after school detention together, things go wrong, very wrong.  Before the end of detention, one student is dead and the other four are all suspects to murder.

McManus keeps readers on the edge of this "who done it" mystery.  Just when you think you have put all the pieces together, the plot twists!

Flex Hour

This is a new event for our campus.  We have one hour slated in the middle of the day for students to attend tutoring, study, club meetings, and eat lunch.  It seems to be going well.  Everyone is finding their space and place.

Chalkboard fun

We have a chalkboard in our library on which we post messages and positive quotes.  This year has been exceptionally amazing! One of the library aides has taken her artistic talent to the board.  She is AWESOME!  About once a month she designs a new display and everyone raves.  Thank you A. for making the KPHS library entrance a conversational piece!
